One of the many reasons Pleasanton is such a great place to live are the schools. Out of the two local high schools, Foothill High School was just recognized as a 2019 California Distinguished School by the California Department of Education! Foothill was one of thirteen schools honored with this award in Alameda County, being previously awarded with the title in 1994, 2001, and 2005.

Foothill was awarded for its outstanding education programs and practices, “achieving exceptional student performance for two consecutive school years or closing the achievement gap between two school years”, according to the Pleasanton Unified School District website.

Foothill Principal Sebastian Bull said, “We are extremely proud to receive this statewide honor and look forward to celebrating with our Foothill community. This recognition belongs to our amazing students, families, and staff for always striving for excellence”.

Superintendent David Haglund said, “Congratulations to Foothill High School for this well-deserved recognition. Thank you to our amazing Foothill community for the effort and support that contributed to this distinction and continues to help our Falcons soar”.

Gratitude. The month of November is often seen as a month of thankfulness for all that we have. We’re so grateful for our wonderful clients, we even provided Thanksgiving pies for them! No tricks this past month, only treats! While other teams might be haunted by the fall selling season, we’ve been spooktacularly successful! The main theme you’ll find this month (other than ghouls and gobblins) is that we’re working with multiple clients who are both sellers and buyers.
