You may have been noticing some recent changes to our beloved downtown and it’s all thanks to the Downtown Plan Adopted by the Livermore City Council in 2018.
Here’s what the approved plan looks like:
The City of Livermore has gone above and beyond to make Livermore a highly desirable place to live. A boutique hotel with a luxurious wine country feel, plenty of retail, 3+ acres of green space including Stockmen’s and Veteran’s Parks, a Science and Society Center, and 2 parking garages to accommodate our growing city are just some of the features to look forward to.

I Street Parking Garage to start construction early 2020:
L Street Parking Garage to start construction in 2021:
With hotel and retail construction starting in 2020, the 130 unit Affordable Workforce Family Housing and Cultural Performing Arts Center construction start dates are still to be determined.
