What’s Happening in Downtown Livermore?

You may have been noticing some recent changes to our beloved downtown and it’s all thanks to the Downtown Plan Adopted by the Livermore City Council in 2018.

Here’s what the approved plan looks like:

The City of Livermore has gone above and beyond to make Livermore a highly desirable place to live. A boutique hotel with a luxurious wine country feel, plenty of retail, 3+ acres of green space including Stockmen’s and Veteran’s Parks, a Science and Society Center, and 2 parking garages to accommodate our growing city are just some of the features to look forward to.

With hotel and retail construction starting in 2020, the 130 unit Affordable Workforce Family Housing and Cultural Performing Arts Center construction start dates are still to be determined.

Pleasanton Schools Are At It Again!

As if you need another reason to love Pleasanton!

An independent online research organization that ranks and reviews schools and districts throughout the country, Niche, just released 2020 Best Schools Ratings. The rankings and ratings are established through millions of reviews by students, parents, and residents as well as dozens of data sets, algorithms, statistics, and user insights.

The Pleasanton Unified School District (PUSD) was ranked the 11th best public school district in California, up from last year’s 17th place. PUSD was also ranked 10th for California school ‘Districts with the Best Teachers’ and 1st for best public school district in Alameda County.

All of the elementary schools ranked in the top 20 for best public elementary schools in Alameda County with Fairlands Elementary coming in 1st. Harvest Park ranked 1st as best public middle school in the county. Amador Valley High School ranked 1st and Foothill High School ranked 2nd as the county’s best public high schools.

In a statement, Superintendent David Haglund said, “While this is just one measure of quality, we are thrilled that these ratings reflect the excellence we strive for as a district team and realize in our schools and classrooms. Thank you to our amazing team of administrators, educators, support staff, families and students for being integral parts to our success as a team.”

Listing Orchard – From Start to Finish
