Our Quarterly Recap

For many agents the Fall and Winter months tend to slow down, that was not our case! With a total sales volume of $35,745,500, we sold a blizzard of homes this quarter! We are so proud of our team and our clients. We gotta say – there’s no better gift during the holiday season than making our clients’ home dreams come true.

We had quite a few families who sold their home with us, and then purchased a new one. Whether they were upsizing or downsizing, we loved being able to help them make the transition from their old home to their new one.

We also helped clients who were going through different phases of life whether it be purchasing for the first time, separating, inheriting a home that needed to be sold, or empty nesters ready to move. We always try to make the process as delicate and smooth as possible.

In addition to selling homes, we had an extremely busy fourth quarter with team events. We had our annual Pie It Forward event where we passed out Thanksgiving pie to our clients and vendors at Rubino Estates Winery while they sipped on wine and ate charcuterie. It was an extremely successful evening and a wonderful way to show our appreciation to all the people we work with!

That lead right up to the Hometown Holiday Parade. We were all prepped with the float that Vista Construction Company, Inc. spent two days putting together. All our elves were waiting to wave in the parade, we had our outfits picked, candy ready, and were giddy with excitement. Then the rain came! We were so disappointed that the parade got cancelled. Now we are even more ready for next year! Here are a few pictures from the fun we had in 2018.

Last, we had our annual team holiday lunch where we get to all visit with one another, enjoy food, drink, and have fun! We went to Piatti in Danville and when there was a mix-up with our reservation, we end up sitting at high-top tables in the bar. Not our number one choice, but that’s what our team is all about – adapting and being positive. We had such a good time mingling and spending quality time with each other, our team is truly a family.

Our fourth quarter was full of gratitude and appreciation, hard work, and fun! With 4 homes in escrow, 1 current listing, and 3 homes ready to come on the market, we are set for a successful first quarter in 2020! Contact us for a free consultation. We’d love to get you in on the action!

The Tri-Valley is a great place to live!

Our Busy Third Quarter Was Just The Beginning!

The summer selling season is notoriously fast paced with high turnaround. While we had a strong summer, it continued throughout the fall as well. With a total sales volume of $24,917,275 we had one of our best quarters yet! We owe our success to our fantastic clients. With their trust and support, we were able to make a lot of dreams come true!

We encountered families that were growing and needing an upsize while also meeting retired, empty nesters who were ready for new adventures. All the homes were loved by their respective families, but it was time for them to start fresh with new families ready to put their love into them.

A couple of the families we helped were looking to relocate. One was moving to the East Coast and needed to sell their home, while the other wanted to move to Pleasanton to take advantage of our top schools. Relocation can be difficult because maybe they’re no longer in the home they’re selling, or they don’t know different neighborhoods they’ll prospectively live in. We try to make the smoothest transition possible for these families from beginning to end.

We also had some first-time buyers. We love answering all their questions and explaining the process every step of the way. We also work with an amazing team of lenders and escrow officers that are wonderful at helping first-time buyers.

Getting a testimonial like this makes it all worth it:

“Simply the best team for buying a home. Very personal touch through the whole process, always reachable and great interactions. Highly recommended real estate team! Special call-out to Michelle, who did a fantastic job in keeping us updated and DeAnna, Kim and Amanda were outstanding in providing us info and additional details whenever needed. Just a fantastic experience.”

What’s Happening in Downtown Livermore?

You may have been noticing some recent changes to our beloved downtown and it’s all thanks to the Downtown Plan Adopted by the Livermore City Council in 2018.

Here’s what the approved plan looks like:

The City of Livermore has gone above and beyond to make Livermore a highly desirable place to live. A boutique hotel with a luxurious wine country feel, plenty of retail, 3+ acres of green space including Stockmen’s and Veteran’s Parks, a Science and Society Center, and 2 parking garages to accommodate our growing city are just some of the features to look forward to.

If you’re interested in being walking distance to this new downtown, check out our current Livermore listing here!

So, what can you expect in the upcoming years?

Pleasanton Schools Are At It Again!

As if you need another reason to love Pleasanton!

An independent online research organization that ranks and reviews schools and districts throughout the country, Niche, just released 2020 Best Schools Ratings. The rankings and ratings are established through millions of reviews by students, parents, and residents as well as dozens of data sets, algorithms, statistics, and user insights.

The Pleasanton Unified School District (PUSD) was ranked the 11th best public school district in California, up from last year’s 17th place. PUSD was also ranked 10th for California school ‘Districts with the Best Teachers’ and 1st for best public school district in Alameda County.

All of the elementary schools ranked in the top 20 for best public elementary schools in Alameda County with Fairlands Elementary coming in 1st. Harvest Park ranked 1st as best public middle school in the county. Amador Valley High School ranked 1st and Foothill High School ranked 2nd as the county’s best public high schools.

In a statement, Superintendent David Haglund said, “While this is just one measure of quality, we are thrilled that these ratings reflect the excellence we strive for as a district team and realize in our schools and classrooms. Thank you to our amazing team of administrators, educators, support staff, families and students for being integral parts to our success as a team.”
